Less than two years after it opened, the restaurant announced that it was up for sale back in April.
The building based in Winckley Square dates back to the Victorian era and is available via leasehold for £175,000.
It is currently up for sale with Manchester-based agents, Christie and Co. with claims it is making an annual turnover of £1.1 million and an annual profit of more than £200,00.
Co-owner of Solita, Franco Sotgiu, says they plan to maintain a Preston based location even though their current shop is up for sale.
The reason behind this being that their current location is simply not bringing them the lunchtime trade they imagined it would.
They plan to move to a more central location within the city centre, possibly in Fishergate.
Solita is expected to remain open at their current premises until a new location has been found.
