Firefighters had to cut two people free from a car after it crashed in Bamber Bridge this morning (Wednesday 11th).
The incident occurred just after 6am at the roundabout at junction 29 of the M6.
The crash happened after the driver of the red Volkswagen Golf hit a dry stone wall.
Two crews from Bamber Bridge fire station attended the scene and used cutting equipment to free the two casualties.
They were there for thirty minutes.
Both casualties were placed onto stretchers and a one was taken to Royal Preston Hospital for treatment after suffering a serious leg injury.
Delays around the Walton Summit area were reported up until around 8.30am.
