Clip N Climb in Preston is the perfect place to keep the whole family entertained this summer.
Having been open for the last 18 months, Clip N Climb is certainly taking Preston to new dizzy heights!
With around 200 different challenges across their 25 walls, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
With specially designed auto-belays, supervising staff will simply clip you in meaning time usually wasted tying in to the rope is taken away.
During the summer the walls be open every day from 9am – 8pm so there’s no excuse to miss out!
Whether you want to climb or not, be sure to re-energise with their delicious homemade food from the café located upstairs.
Conveniently situated next to the café is a children’s soft-play area for under four-year-olds.
Alternatively you can bring your toddler along to one of their slower-paced toddler sessions, sure to turn your little ones into mighty mountaineers in no time!
Following overwhelming feedback, Clip N Climb also host specialised Autism and S.E.N sessions in a calmer environment every Wednesday at 5pm.
Clip N Climb also host a Preston Peak Climbing Club for children aged between 4 and 10, designed to build self-confidence, achievement and fitness skills.
More details of the club can be found here.
Don’t be fooled, while Clip N Climb is extremely popular with children, it’s not just for them.
Adults can have fun too at one of their specialised ClimbFit sessions, or you can simply book in with your friends.
Students are also catered for too, with student deals being offered, as well as an open day during Freshers.
Plans to create an adults’ version of the Climbing Club are also underway, in which excursions to The Lakes will take place, and adults will be taught the basics of climbing, such as how to tie in, belaying your partner, and much more!
Owner of Preston’s Clip N Climb, Vicky Coupe, is a well-known and respected figure across the climbing community, having assisted other Clip N Climbs in their start-ups, as well as designing routes at the famous Boardroom.
When asked to describe Clip N Climb she said, “It’s very much a family orientated business”.
