Cup Action Continues

Preston North End will look to get back to winning ways tonight as they travel to Leeds for a cup clash.

Two defeats and draw are on the record for the Lilywhites’ last three games, with the club’s last win coming in the Carabao Cup against Lancashire rivals Morecambe.

Tonight’s Carabao Cup fixture will see a very tough matchup against an unbeaten Leeds, that are able to enjoy home advantage.

North End can take some heart from picking up four points from Leeds home and away last season, even after finishing the game at Elland Road with ten men.

Manager Alex Neil has been able to appreciate his opponents’ achievements so far this season. He told PNE’s iFollow, ‘It is a long season, and everyone knows that, but they have started really well, have got a good brand of football, that has been good to watch so far and they will be looking to continue that.’

Neil followed up by stating that his side will need to play well if they are to get any type of decent result.

We’re not entirely sure that the Norwich City styled kits will help . .
