Lancashire Fire rescued a man trapped under a car in Chorley yesterday afternoon, following a traffic collision.
According to reports, the trapped man injured both legs while trapped under a car on Ackhurst Road.
Crews attended the scene and spent 40 minutes freeing the individual.
A report from Lancashire Fire read: ‘At 14:34 a fire engine from Chorley attended reports of a road traffic collusion on Ackhurst Road, Chorley. The incident involved a man trapped beneath a car and crews used tirfor, wedges, chocks and blocks to release the man. Crews were engaged for forty minutes.’
