Preston Police have taken to Twitter to remind locals 'to be aware' following another burglary…
This morning Police were forced to close the A583, due to a large protest against fracking taking place.
Fracking firm Cuadrilla has attracted demonstrators from across the country who stand against the extraction of shale gas.
Today saw a larger group of protestors than normal as the next stage of the fracking process was due to begin over the weekend.
Cuadrilla will now pump water and chemicals into the ground to release shale gas that is used as an alternative fossil fuel.
Motorists have seen traffic issues caused throughout the year, mainly due to protest taking place on Preston New Road; outside of Cuadrilla’s drilling site.
Traffic was diverted away from Preston New Road and towards Whitehill road.
