The future of Garstang's Slice Of Sicily is unknown as residents report seeing "Closure" signs…
A new restaurant is coming to Fulwood, as The Ginger Bistro replaces A Slice Of Sicily on Garstang Road.
The Ginger Bistro is set to seat up to 60 diners, with the venture referred to as a “Gastropub” by manager Simon Noble.
Simon told Blog Preston; “We have seen so far that it is set to be a stylish new place for locals to meet for a drink or a meal”.
“We are planning menus, which will be very much your traditional gastropub cuisine – fish of the day and steaks. We will have tapas style snacks which people can order as starters and we will be doing breakfasts.”
“It will be stylish and high quality but we want it to be a nice relaxed atmosphere – somewhere people can meet for coffee or a drink after work, or where couples can get together for a meal.”
The Ginger Bistro are looking to recruit staff and chefs, with interviews having already taken place and a number of full time and part time jobs still available.
