Netflix-bingers will be rejoicing today at the news Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan is making a movie!
According to Variety magazine, Gilligan is in the process of developing a two-hour movie plot for a feature-length version of the hit AMC show.
With more than 10 million people tuning in to watch the demise of Walter White in the show’s finale on American TV, it’s clear a movie would be interesting to a large audience.
It isn’t known how far along Gilligan is with a plot or finding a studio that wants to put their money where their mouths are. At this moment in time, it is likely this is just a pipe dream and we won’t be seeing a trailer in the next 12 months.
Reaction from fans has been mixed on Twitter so far; with some feeling like they’ve seen enough of Walt’s meth laced adventures, while others are taking the success of spin-off Better Call Saul as signs that a movie can be a hit!

Not a lot of people can pull off spin-offs either but, Better Call Saul is awesome so if a Breaking Bad movie does happen, I have high hopes for it ?
