Preston is a city filled with exciting events, scenic views and activities to keep you entertained. From walks around Avenham Park, to dining at multiple restaurants, to having a relaxing cinema evening, Preston homes a plethora of options to keep you busy.

This weekend is no different. A new year means change to many, so why not spend this weekend doing something you’ve never done before? Want to get closer to nature? Brockholes Nature Reserve is giving you the chance to.

This weekend, both Saturday and Sunday, you will be making bird feeders to keep a huge number of our feathered friends going through the cold and winter months.

From 10am until 12pm and 1pm until 3pm, you can join in the fun craft sessions that take place throughout the year. Never crafted before? Don’t let that put you off trying something new.

For just £3 per feeder (which you pay at the door), you can join the fun. You don’t even need to book, you can just come along and get involved!

As this can be a messy activity, it is advised to keep this in mind when you dress. Bring the children along turn it into a family day out. Keep in mind car parking charges apply.

The address is: New Road, Samlesbury, Preston, PR5 0AG.
