Piers Morgan, Britain’s controversial journalist and Good Morning Britain host, has been hospitalised after battling bronchitis, sinusitis and laryngitis. The marmite personality, either loved or hated by the nation, has certainly kept us all entertained throughout the years.
Piers Morgan is famous for his outspoken opinion where no one is safe, whether it is about his beloved Arsenal FC or the Kardashians, he isn’t afraid to speak his mind.
Sharing a snap of himself lying on his hospital bed, wearing a hospital gown and with an oxygen tube through his nose, he joked to fans on his social media ‘bad news, I’m not dying. I can only apologise for all the distress I know this will cause some people’.
The 53-year-old has been battling illness for months, but whilst giving no further details about his condition, it looks as though he will make a full recovery soon.
After Piers famously vomited on Good Morning Britain following eating the latest food craze, a vegan sausage roll, many are joking the new Greggs roll has caused his hospitalisation, with one social media user saying, ‘That Greggs vegan roll has really done you in hasn’t it’.
We’re sure he will be back to his usual comedic and opiniated self in no time.
