This week we’ve picked out three job postings from Lancaster University, Preston college Cardinal Newman and classic wedding venue Beeston Manor.
Lancaster University – Student Well Being Coordinator
The University needs a Student Wellbeing Coordinator to respond to student wellbeing incidents within the University and to ensure that appropriate safeguards and ongoing support are in place for those involved.
You will be able to demonstrate the ability to work with vulnerable people, people with mental health difficulties including those with complex difficulties/experiencing crisis and experience of working with a diverse range of people.
You will need to be able to coordinate the response to student wellbeing incidents from initial presentation until case closure and be able to advise staff across the University when supporting students.
The job is a full-time position and will earn a successful applicant around £35,000 – £40,000 per year.
Cardinal Newman College – Project Coordinator
This temporary position at the college will see you provide regular reports and updates when required to all key stakeholders, both internal & external, reporting on finances including the development and implementation of financial procedures; as well as, advertise, recruit and maintain bookings and membership of events and workgroups.
The Project Co-ordinator will be based at Cardinal Newman College and will work closely with the Maths Hub team at Our Lady’s Catholic High School overseeing the coordination of the Central Lancashire Maths Hub, as such regular travel will be essential.
The average work-week will be around 37 hours per week, with a salary of £22,000 to £24,000 a year.
Beeston Manor Wedding and Events – Bar Staff/Waiter
Beeston Manor is a family run and owned venue set in 140 acres of land at Hoghton near Preston. Our venue is a beautifully converted 16th Century barn complete with oak beams and sandstone walls.
The venue has achieved the award of ‘WEDDING EVENTS TEAM IN THE NORTH WEST: WINNER’ in the 2019 Wedding Industry Awards, ‘WEDDING VENUE (COUNTRYSIDE) OF THE YEAR: HIGHLY COMMENDED AWARD’ in the 2018 UK National Wedding Industry Awards and ‘BEST COUNTRYSIDE VENUE IN THE NORTH WEST: WINNER’ in the 2017 and 2018 Wedding Industry Awards.
A bar staff/waiter will be usually working on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Bank Holidays, with shift times a mixture of the following: 7am – 1pm, 11am – 8.30pm, 1pm – 1am, 6pm – 11pm, 6pm – 1am.
