Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, have announced the birth of a baby boy.
The couple initially made the announcement on Instagram (very 2019 of the Royals) before Harry gave a quick address to the media.
He said: ‘We have a very healthy boy. Mother and baby are doing incredibly well. It has been the most amazing experience I could have ever possibly imagined.
‘How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension.
‘I’m absolutely thrilled and so grateful for all the love and support out there. It has been amazing.’
‘I’m so proud of my wife’.
A name hasn’t yet been given to the press for the new boy but we do know that the baby is seventh in line to the throne and is the Queen’s eighth great-grandchild.
It is being reported that the Royal baby weighed 7lbs 3oz and was born at 5.26am.
