Dashcam Appeal: Woman Hit By A Car On Deepdale Road This Morning

Police are appealing for information or dashcam footage relating to an incident this morning that saw a woman hit by a car in Preston.

Deepdale Road was closed for most of this morning (June 13th) after a 45-year-old woman was hit by a Renault Megane.

It happened at the junction of St Thomas Road.

The pedestrian suffered serious injuries to her leg and head and was taken to Royal Preston Hospital.

The driver of the car, a 37 year old man from Preston, was not injured.

Sergeant Craig Booth of Lancashire’s Tactical Operations Unit, said, “A woman is seriously injured and our thoughts are with her at this time.

“We are working to establish the circumstances of the collision and ask that anyone with information or any dash cam footage which may be relevant gets in touch.”
