A man has been identified as a suspect for an incident involving racist abuse and spitting aimed towards a woman in Preston.
Following a csosial media appeal launched yesterday (6th August) for information on the alleged verbal abuse, which happened three months ago, Preston Police have now identified a suspect.
According to a police spokesman, “It was reported that at around 13:00 on 16 May, a woman was on Wolseley Road in Preston when she was involved in a verbal altercation with a male.
“The woman was racially abused and threats were also made to damage her car.
“It is believed the offender spat on the vehicle and punched one of the windows. No damage was caused.
Preston Police has thanked the public for sharing the appeal.
