Finney’s Cafe & Sports Bar will re-open for tonight’s game as Preston North End’s catering partners continue to improve the facility this season.
Following last season’s change of catering from Simon Rigby’s Villa@NorthEnd to Heathcote@Co fans have rightfully complained about the underutilization of the cafe.
Now things appear to be changing for the better, as the club has announced there have been improvements behind the scenes.
A statement on the club website said, “The club and catering partner Heathcote&Co Deepdale are looking to improve the facility over the coming weeks, with developments to be made for future games.
“However, work has been going on behind the scenes to start those improvements – before any obvious cosmetic changes – and this has allowed it to be accessible for fans again from Wednesday evening.
“The facility, for home fans, will be open from 5.30pm until kick-off, with access through the front double-doors just behind the Splash statue on the corner of the Sir Tom Finney Stand and the Bill Shankly Kop.”
