A brand new high-class restaurant coming to Winckley square has ambitions to bring award-winning dining to Preston.
‘263’ will be opening to the public later this month, and Head Chef Charlie Yates believes the food will become the best in Preston.
Charlie Yates has worked with Nigel Howarth at Northcote and Tom Parker at white swan at Fence, both of which have Michelin Stars.
It’s clear the restaurant won’t be taking half measures in their attempt to become one of the finest eateries in Lancashire, as they kick off with the promise that the menu will change every week!
A spokesman said, “263 will be an English restaurant using local, seasonal produce. The menu will change every week as we want to base it around the best our suppliers have to offer us at the time.”
“We’ve partnered up with Mark O’Rourke who currently owns Fino Tapas and Otter’s Pocket who aims of becoming Preston’s first restaurant with AA rosettes,” the spokesman added.
The launch menu, which will be available from the opening on Wednesday, 18th September, will feature Pughs Pigs Jowl, Charred Mackerel, Pigeon Wellington and Plum rice pudding.
Chef Yates doesn’t want people to be uncomfortable to visit 263 for a meal, but, wants to create food that he thinks will be the best in Preston.
