A motorcyclist was injured after a crash on the Freckleton Bypass and remains in a serious condition in hospital.
Police were called on Thursday (3rd Oct) at around 11.45am to reports that a motorcycle had collided with a Vauxhall Insignia. The crash happened on the a584 Preston New Road inbetween Freckleton and Clifton.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 39-year-old man, suffered a head injury and a serious of broken bones. The man was taken to Royal Preston Hospital by air ambulance.
Police are appealing for witnesses so they can understand how the crash happened.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Constabulary said; “This was a serious collision and our thoughts are with the motorcycle rider. He remains in serious condition in hospital”.
