Two Missing Convicts Jump The Fence Of HMP Kirkham

Police are appealing for two men who have escaped prison by climbing over the fence of HMP Kirkham.

Christopher Kerrigan (pictured left) and Kearon Tyrone Haunte (pictured right) both absconded from HMP Kirkham on Saturday, October 5th.

Kerrigan, from Colwyn Bay, was sentenced to more than seven years in prison for wounding.

He is described as white, 6ft 2in tall, of slim build with brown eyes and short dark hair. He speaks with an English accent.

A Lancashire Police spokesman said, “We are appealing for information leading to Kerrigan’s whereabouts.

“If you have seen him or know where he is, please come forward.”

Haunte, a 31-year-old male from Leeds, was jailed for six years for conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.

He is described as black, 5ft 10in tall, of medium build with black hair and brown eyes.

Hunte has links to the Leeds and West Yorkshire areas.

A Lancashire Police spokesman said, “Hunte is wanted by police after escaping HMP Kirkham.

“We would urge anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward.

“We would also encourage Hunte to come forward and speak to police immediately.”
