A car crash in Garstang is being blamed on a “cheeky pheasant” by Lancashire Police.
Shocking images were uploaded to Twitter by LancsRoadPolice after a crash on Park Lane in Winmarleigh at around 3.30pm on Friday (Nov 8th).
The crash happened on the north west side of Fairtrade Town and officers described the incident as being a “Newish driver swerving to avoid a cheeky pheasant”.
The driver’s car is a VW and the vehicle ended up overturned in a field. According to officers, there were 4 people in the vehicle, some of whom sustained minor injuries.
