The South Ribble Borough Community Awards are back for 2019, and this is how you can nominate a deserved winner.
The Community Awards are an annual event to recognise South Ribble residents and workers who go above and beyond in their quest to make a positive difference.
A number of categories are open to the public for nominations, including Volunteer of the Year, Special Achievement and Dementia Friend Award.
Members of the public are able to make a nomination for as many or as few of the categories as they like, but, only one nomination can be made per category.
There is several ways to make a nomination, which can be found in the FAQs PDF here, but the easiest way is by visiting the South Ribble Citizenspace website here.
A spokesman for the awards said, “The South Ribble Community Awards for 2019 aim to recognise those individuals, groups and organisations across South Ribble who consistently go above and beyond their call of duty and make a positive difference within our communities.
“We have a number of awards that you can nominate for and we look forward to receiving your nominations!”
