Emergency Service Say ‘No-One Was Taken To Hospital’ After Friargate Incident

The ambulance service has confirmed that no-person was taken to the hospital after a small commotion on Friargate.

Earlier today (November 29th) emergency services were in attendance of Friargate where a female had been taken ill.

Police attended the scene before calling on the ambulance service to also attend.

Lancs Live reported that a spokesperson for North West Ambulance Service said, “We were called to a concern for welfare for a female patient. We sent an ambulance and assisted the patient – they did not need to go to hospital.”

The reason for the woman’s illness has not been officially confirmed.
