Yesterday morning fire crews from Preston and Fulwood were called to respond to an RTC on the M6.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service reported on the incident yesterday morning (12th, January), stating that emergency services responded to reports of a road traffic collision.
We know at least one person needed medical care after being cut free from a vehicle.
A spokesman for Lancs Fire and Rescue said, “Fire crews from Fulwood, Preston and Preesall attended reports of a road traffic collision on the M6 southbound between junction 32 and 31 involving a HGV and a small vehicle where there was also a trapped casualty involved.
“Crews used cutting equipment to release the casualty from the vehicle who was then handed over to the care of paramedics at the scene. Firefighters were in attendance approximately one hour and forty minutes.”
