A global DJ legend is flying in to Preston from New York to perform at Preston BID’s annual PrestFest later this year.
The event takes place every year and was recently announced to return to Preston Flag Market on June 6th. This year’s event marks the 5th anniversary of PrestFest and will run throughout the day and night.
Preston BID have now confirmed the first act which will be DJ legend Todd Terry. Terry is widely considered to be the Godfather of house-music and has DJd across the world for years. He’s also a producer for some of the biggest names in music. Terry was a notable name back in the 90s.
PrestFest will begin at 12pm with a free, family-friendly event during the day which will end at 5pm. The flag market will then undergo a transformation with the festival portion beginning at 6pm.
The evening part of PrestFest is a paid, ticketed event and is for 18+ only. Tickets are available at PrestFest2020.co.uk and organisers have promised more names will be revealed shortly.
Mark Whittle from BID said: “Prestfest has grown in popularity over recent years – at the request of city centre businesses we’ve extended this fifth anniversary event to ensure all members of the family can get involved.
“Whilst the evening event will follow the format of previous years, the daytime event, which is free for all, will be a welcome addition.”
