Former Preston North End manager Simon Grayson has been fired by Blackpool FC after a 3-2 loss to Gillingham.
Blackpool Football Club released a statement this morning informing fans that Grayson has been ‘relieved of his duties’.
The club has won just one game since December 7th, which was a 2-1 victory over Lincoln City.
A statement from the club read, “Blackpool Football Club can confirm that Simon Grayson has today been relieved of his duties as first-team manager.
“The club would like to thank Simon for his efforts during his time back at Bloomfield Road and wish him well for the future.
“A further announcement will follow in due course.”
