A missing 88-year-old man from Preston has been found ‘safe and well’ following a social media appeal.
Preston Police appealed to find 88-year-old Reginal Smith via a Facebook post which was widely shared by people in the Preston area.
Earlier today Preston Police said:
“We are becoming increasingly concerned about the welfare of 88-year-old Reginald SMITH, who is missing from Preston.
“He was last seen at around 18:00 on Sunday 15th March 2020. Reginald is described as a white male, 5’10” tall, of a thin build with short grey hair. Reginald also wears glasses. When he was last seen he was wearing a cream jacket, a blue jumper, grey trousers, a blue chequered shirt and a dark blue tie.
“We are concerned for his welfare and are appealing for your help to find Reginald. If you have seen him or have any information, please call us on 101 quoting log reference LC-20200315-1385. Please share this post and thanks for your help!
In an update this afternoon, Preston Police confirmed Reginald has been found safe and well!——
