A Preston businessman has pledged £100,000 to help the NHS fight against the Coronavirus.
Yousef Bhailok has pledged the funding to help support the NHS staff, particularly when it comes to obtaining personal protective equipment (PPE).
Yousef is encouraging others to join his pledge as he aims to raise £1,000,000 to support NHS staff working in Preston.
“We are thankful in this country that we have the NHS and the skilled doctors. The Government is trying to get the necessary ventilators and PPE equipment and so-forth.”
“We need to support the NHS Staff, the doctors, the nurses and the medical professionals in our hospitals.
“So I’m going to launch an appeal which I want to raise immediately for our Preston NHS staff, the first target is £1m pound and that “1m is to go as full support for our staff.”
A BID Spokesman revealed:
“Preston based businessman Yousuf Bhailok has pledged £100,000 to NHS practitioners in Preston and secured a further £100,000 donation. He will be asking for help from other Prestonians too!”
“Faisal Bhailok, Yousuf’s son is a front-line NHS worker and is supporting his family with the setting up of the fund.”
