An off-road bike and drugs have been seized by Preston Police as they attempt to curb anti-social behaviour in Plungington.
The area’s seen a rise in ASB recently with a recent report by The Lancashire Post suggesting that residents are “fighting back” against an influx of drug-dealers during lockdown.
Police executed a drugs raid at an address in the Plungington area of Preston yesterday morning (26th June), assisted by PD Daisy from the Lancashire Police Dog Unit.
A small amount of controlled drugs were seized, as well as an off-road scrambler bike which had been identified by residents as causing anti-social behaviour in the area.
A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: “Preston NHP Task Force today have executed another drugs warrant on Eldon Street, Plungington. A quantity of drugs was seized from the address as well as this motorbike which was recovered. The bike had been identified by residents as causing anti social behaviour in the area.”
