Garstang fire crews tackled a vehicle blaze yesterday, close to the Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service Headquaters.
Two firefighters tackled the fire using breathing apparatus.
No injuries have been reported by emergency services, who say they were in attendance for approximately twenty minutes.
A Lancs Fire & Rescue spokesman said:
“Fire crews from Garstang were called to reports of a fire involving a vehicle on Greenacres Drive, Barnacre with Bonds, Garstang.
“On arrival they found a fire in the engine compartment of a vehicle.
“Two firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used a hose reel to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance approximately twenty minutes.”
