A Preston nightclub have announced that they’re re-opening with social distancing measures in place.
Switch Preston (Previously called Switch Nightclub Preston) announced their intentions to re-open from 1st August on social media earlier this week.
The popular venue are preparing to re-open their doors after being closed due to the Coronavirus pandemic since March.
Based on Market Street, the venue has a capacity of up to 1,500 people and regularly attracts celebrities and DJs for public appearances.
According to Lancs Live, Switch Preston insist that they have permission from Preston City Council to re-open despite nightclubs being on the list of businesses unable to currently open.
A range of measures will be implemented once the venue re-opens including one-way systems, a dedicated cleaning team and only allowing entry to people who have purchased tickets through their website.
From 1st August, the Government have allowed live music and comedy venues to re-open with social distancing measures. Evoque Nightclub have yet to respond.
