South Ribble Police have made arrests following a knife-related incident in Central Leyland.
Enquiries are ongoing.
A South Ribble Police spokesman said:
“After a recent knife related incident in central Leyland, officers from the Chorley/South Ribble Task Force have made an arrest and further enquiries are ongoing.
“Thanks to members of the local community for your support and reaction to this incident.
“There have been several incidents involving knifes and disorder in leyland in recent times and we will not tolerate this kind of behaviour that puts members of the community at risk.
“We will respond, we will arrest those responsible and we will continue to patrol and reassure the communities of leyland that we are taking these incidents seriously.
