Men wanted as part of major drugs operation

A man wanted by police as part of a major operation investigating the supply and distribution of drugs in Blackpool been arrested. 

Deacon Bennett, 23, was arrested earlier today (Friday, July 31) and had been wanted as part of Operation Enigma, a targeted campaign to disrupt alleged drug-dealing activity by a suspected organised crime group in the resort.

James Scott, 23, of Heathfield Avenue, Fleetwood and Brandon Earle, 23 (pictured left to right), of Regent Road, Blackpool, remain wanted by police.

Scott is described as white, 5ft 11in tall, of slim build and has links to the Fleetwood and Blackpool areas.

Earle is white, 5ft 10in tall, of medium build and has links to Blackpool and Morecambe.

Both are wanted on suspicion of conspiring to supply a Class A controlled drug.

Det Insp Steve Harry, of Blackpool Police, said: “These individuals are wanted by police as part of a major investigation into the supply and distribution of Class A drugs in Blackpool.

“We believe people in the Blackpool area know where they are and who they are associating with. I would urge anyone with information about where they are to come forward immediately and speak to us.”
