The Preston City Council has announced that the City’s testing sites have been closed early due to demand.
A spokesman took to social media to say:
“Sorry, our community testing sites have closed the queues for today (15 Sept).
“This is to ensure that those within the queue can be processed before the 3pm deadline, when tests are collected for analysis.
“Both sites will re-open Wed 16 Sept at 10am.”
Yesterday, the City Council also closed the same sites due to ‘high demand and long queues’.
One Facebook user commented on the Hub feed yesterday (September 14th) that they had to wait up to two hours for a test last week.
