Armed police have responded to a report that a man has walked into a Halifax bank in Church Street, Blackpool and poured petrol inside of the building.
There is currently a cordon on place on Church Street to keep crowds away from the scene.
A spokesman for Lancashire Police said:
“We were called at around 2:10pm this afternoon (Monday, September 28) to the report that a man on a mobility scooter had entered the bank and poured petrol inside.
“There are currently no members of staff left in the bank building, however, the man is still there. A negotiator is on the scene.”
