The New Tier-Three Restrictions For Preston & Lancashire

Preston will join the rest of Lancashire in entering the ‘Very High’ alert tier in the Government’s three-tier alert system.

From midnight on Saturday, 17th October more restrictions will come into place in the City, including the closure of pubs and bars that do not serve substantial meals.

Those restrictions will include:

•All pubs and bars must close, unless serving substantial meals

•People should try to avoid travelling outside the very-high alert area other than for work, education or for caring responsibilities.

•Residents should avoid staying overnight in another part of the UK

From Monday 19th October at 00:01am, restrictions will also be applied to:

•All licenced clubs, the adult gaming industry, casinos, bingo halls, bookmakers and betting shops, and soft play areas must close.

•Car boot sales would not be permitted These measures will be reviewed every 14 days. 3/4
