Emergency services closed a road near Warton after three people were involved in a car crash and were sent to hospital.
The crash involved a BMW and a Range Rover colliding in Bryning Lane at 2.40pm yesterday (16th October).
Officers rescued 1 person from one of the vehicles using specialist equipment and 3 people were later taken to Royal Preston Hospital.
Bryning Lane was closed for a short while after the collision.
A spokesman for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Two fire engines from Lytham and Wesham were called at 2.54pm to a road traffic collision involving two cars on Bryning Lane, Warton.
“Firefighters used cutting equipment to release one person from one of the cars. Three people were taken to hospital by North West Ambulance Service.”
