A Lancashire motorist has been taken to hospital after a severe crash in Chorley yesterday.
The motorist sustained a number of injuries after the crash which took place in Pilling Lane.
Police were called to the road at 6.47am yesterday after the crash which involved a Ford Transit van and a motorcycle at the junction of the A6 Bolton Road.
The road was closed for a short time as emergence services attended to the man who suffered arm, shoulder and leg injuries.
A police spokesman said: “We were called to a two-vehicle collision involving a Ford Transit van and a motorcycle in Pilling Lane, Chorley, at 6.47am today (October 15).
“The male motorcyclist has suffered suspected arm, shoulder and leg injuries and has been taken to hospital.”
