Officers from Lancashire Police have made an arrest after a lengthy search for two men wanted in connection with an altercation at a Clayton-le-Moors pub.
The man arrested is 23-year-old Ben Cronshaw from Rishton. He was arrested on suspicion of assault and affray earlier today (25th).
Another person remains outstanding. David Osbaldeston, 27, is still being searched for by police.
The incident, which took place on Sunday, October 4 at the Royal Oak Public House on Sparth Road, included a fight with a group of men throwing glasses before leaving the scene.
DS Steve Munro from Blackburn Police said: “Our hunt for David Osbaldeston is very much on-going and we will not stop until we find him or he hands himself in.
“I urge Osbaldeston to do the right thing and attend the nearest police station as it’s only a matter of time until he is found.
“If we find that anyone has been harbouring him or helping him to evade the police, they will also be dealt with for their involvement.
“If you have seen or know where Osbaldeston is, please get in touch. I would like to remind the public not to approach him, but to call the police instead.
“I would like to thank the public for their response and support in helping us find Cronshaw who we arrested this morning.”
