Preston Police are investigating a suspected arson after a caravan blaze in Preston happened earlier today (25th).
People nearby the caravan had to evacuate and move their cars, with heat from the blaze causing damage to the windows on the nearby houses.
Firefighters were called to the scene at 3.45am on Bleasdale Road. Two firefighters attended and took care of the blaze.
Paul Charnley, Watch Manager, said; “It took us around half an hour to put the fire out. Fortunately, noone was hurt but we are viewing it as a deliberate fire and police are involved.”
