Avenham’s Japanese rock garden has been temporarily closed.
The space has been closed to the public while a City Council team clears three dead trees.
A Preston City Council spokesman said:
“For anyone visiting Avenham Park today please be aware the rock garden is temporarily closed off.
“You can still enjoy the rest of our parks, but please remember to give each other space.”
A spokesman for the Preston Parks added:
“Our teams are currently on site removing three dead trees from the Avenham Park rock garden. While this work is ongoing the garden will be closed off with tape.
“We hope to have this open again very soon.”
