Chorley Police officers have seized a number of dangerous knives as Operation Sceptre continues to target knife crime.
A Chorley Police spokesman said this morning (4th May):
“We had 18 knives surrendered at Chorley and we seized two knives on the weapons sweeps and warrants.
“Some class A and Class B drugs were also seized at the warrant.
“In addition to this we carried out a number of Choose Life not the Knife awareness sessions at Bishop Rawstorne High school and inspire youth Zone to approximately 200 youths.
“Some incredibly dangerous knives were seized or handed in.”
