South Ribble Police have arrested two people in the Leyland area overnight for breaking into vehicles.
Officers responded to reports of people trying to open car doors in the Bent Lane area around 3am on 26th August 2021.
A spokesman said:
“We’re in the process of searching the area for any further offences relating to those who were arrested. We’re also conducting reassurance visits in the area.
“As the investigation is in its early stages, we’ll keep you updated with further information in relation to the overnight arrests.
“We’re committed to apprehending those who commit crime in our area.
