Cross-County Police Work Leads To The Arrest Of Three Teens Connected To Burglary

Following a burglary where a car was stolen in Adlington four days ago, two boys and a man, aged 16, 17, and 18 were arrested in Bolton on suspicion of burglary.

These arrests come as a result of joint working between ourselves and our colleagues at Greater Manchester Police, who pursued the stolen vehicle from Thicketford Road and Tonge Moor Road in Bolton.

After stopping on Olga Street, the trio ran off but was arrested nearby on suspicion of burglary.

The stolen car has been recovered.

A Chorley Police spokesman said:

“We want to say a huge thanks to our colleagues at GMP and let us be clear, no matter where you are from, if you come into Lancashire to commit crime, we will work with other forces to find and arrest you.”
