Man Arrested In Connection With Ferret Pub Break-In

Police have released an update via social media of recent arrests following break-ins in Preston.

There was a break-in at The Ferret pub in Preston last Wednesday (November 17th) where a window was smashed, some alcohol was stolen, along with a staff member’s Samsung smartphone.

Yesterday, Police arrested a 37-year-old man from Preston in connection with this.

A spokesman said:

“We have also arrested another man, 47, in relation to a burglary at a property on Powis Road on Sunday evening where a thief smashed a window and stole a couple of watches amongst some other items.

“We would like to remind residents to remain vigilant, particularly at this time of year, and report any suspicious activity to us.
